Bell Canyon Fire History

Bell Canyon faced the impact of the 2018 Woolsey Fires, resulting in the loss of 38 homes. Thankfully, we were spared during the recent fire season with the Palisade, Eaton, and Kenneth Fires, but our location necessitates constant preparedness due to its fire-prone nature. Before the establishment of the Bell Canyon Volunteer Wildland Fire Department, we lacked immediate response capabilities from volunteers, who are unaffiliated with the Bell Canyon HOA or CSD. Now, with first responders residing in our community, we can provide swift assistance during disasters, helping to reduce damage and protect our residents from harm.
