Sandy Seth

My name is Sandy Seth, and I’ve been a proud resident of Bell Canyon for 30 years. My wife and I raised our two wonderful children here, and this community has always been a place of beauty, safety, and neighborly respect. But in recent years, a toxic culture of division, hostility, and litigation has taken hold, threatening the very fabric of what makes Bell Canyon special. I’m running for the Board to restore decency, transparency, and unity to our community.

Our community has been torn apart by a small but vocal minority where yelling, cursing, personal attacks and the constant threat of litigation have become commonplace. This is not the Bell Canyon I know - a place where neighbors treated each other with respect and worked together for the common good. It’s time for independent leadership with no affiliations or baggage from the past to bring back the sense of community we once cherished.

It’s time for a truly new direction in leadership. My priorities for Bell Canyon are clear:

  • Restoring Civility and Respect: I will work to foster a culture of mutual respect and collaboration, ensuring that all voices are heard without fear of retaliation or litigation,

  • Professionalizing Operations: I will advocate for hiring a professional management company to handle the complete day-to-day operations, reducing the Board’s role to oversight and strategic guidance. I will also seek to appoint independent legal counsel to ensure unbiased decision-making.

  • Supporting Our Volunteer Fire Department (BCVWFD): The BCVWFD is one of our greatest assets, and I will fight to ensure they have the resources and support they need to protect our community. I will also work with our Fire Safety Council towards making Bell Canyon more “fireproof” to improve our standing with insurance companies.

  • Ensuring Transparency and Accountability: I will replace the divisive “he said/she said” emails with clear, regular updates on the issues that matter most to residents. Transparency will be a cornerstone of my leadership.

I am not aligned with any faction or special interest group - my only allegiance is to Bell Canyon. With 30 years of experience running successful businesses and a background as a Chartered Accountant, I bring the skills, time, and dedication needed to make a meaningful impact. Now retired, I am fully committed to serving our community and improving the quality of life for every resident.

Together, we can restore Bell Canyon to the thriving, respectful, and united community it once was. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to earning your trust.
